He fixed his eyes on his dear wife
you do come near my heart
we've lived together in this life
but now, alas! Must part
he turned his dying eyes around
his children dear to see
I hope in heaven we shall be found
you do come near to me
Though we have liv'd together here
and pass'd through grief and pain
believe in God and do not fear
in heaven we meet again
Also of Martha, his wife
who died Aug 9th 1893
Aged 89 years
